Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

PingMyPeople helps users create a digital emergency profile that can be shared by link or QR code. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

PingMyPeople is not an emergency response service. In a life-threatening situation, contact local emergency services first.

Information we collect

When you create a profile, we may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, phone number, email address, emergency contact details, general medical notes, allergies, travel notes, and other information you enter into the form.

How we use your information

What may be visible

Information you choose to place on your public emergency profile may be visible to anyone with your link or QR code. Do not add information you do not want accessible through your emergency profile.

Data storage

During the early launch, submissions may be stored through secure third-party tools used to operate the website and collect form responses. We aim to limit access to people who need it to operate PingMyPeople.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, process forms, send communications, or maintain the service.

Your choices

You can request profile updates, correction, or deletion by contacting us at hello@pingmypeople.com.

Children

Profiles for minors should only be created by a parent, guardian, or authorized caregiver.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as PingMyPeople grows. The updated date will reflect the latest version.
