What PingMyPeople does
PingMyPeople provides digital emergency contact profiles that can be accessed through a link or QR code. The platform is designed to help someone quickly view contact information and relevant notes you choose to share.
User responsibility
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.
- You should only list emergency contacts who have given you permission.
- You should not submit false, misleading, harmful, or unlawful information.
- You should not rely on PingMyPeople as your only emergency plan.
Medical and emergency information
Any medical notes you provide are user-submitted and informational only. PingMyPeople does not verify medical information and does not provide medical advice.
Availability
We aim to keep the website available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Internet access, phone battery, device settings, local network issues, or third-party service outages may affect availability.
Physical products
Wallet cards and bag tags are listed as coming soon. They are not currently being sold or shipped through this launch version of the site.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to break into systems, scrape data, upload malicious content, impersonate others, or use PingMyPeople for unlawful purposes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PingMyPeople is not liable for damages resulting from inaccurate user-submitted information, inability to access a profile, third-party outages, delayed contact, or emergency outcomes.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service grows. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
