Beta Terms
PingMyPeople is currently in beta testing. These terms apply to everyone accepted into the beta program, in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Program period
The beta runs from now through December 31, 2026. We may extend, shorten, or end the beta early; we'll notify testers by email if we do.
2. Free access during beta
Approved beta testers receive the Complete or Family plan free for the duration of the beta. No payment method is collected and no charges are made during beta.
3. Your role as a tester
- Complete the in-app beta checklist: set up your profile, add My People, configure check-ins, test SOS and QR features, and try the family features if you're testing Family.
- Give honest feedback through the in-app beta feedback tools, including reporting bugs and confusing experiences.
- Use the service in good faith. Don't share your beta code — codes are single-use and non-transferable.
4. Best-effort service during beta
Beta software changes frequently and may contain bugs. Check-ins, reminders, and alerts are provided on a best-effort basis during beta. PingMyPeople is not a substitute for emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services directly.
5. What happens when beta ends
- On January 1, 2027, beta accounts that have not chosen a paid plan automatically move to the Free plan. Your profile, QR code, and data are kept — only paid features lock.
- Beta testers who continue to a paid plan receive 3 months free on that plan.
- You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings, per our Privacy Policy.
6. Eligibility
Beta testers must be 18 or older (or the parent/guardian managing a family account). One beta account per person. We review every application and accept testers at our discretion; we may remove testers who abuse the program.
7. Privacy
We collect the information in your application to run the beta program. Feedback you submit may be used to improve PingMyPeople and may be quoted anonymously unless you give us permission otherwise.
